ZGlobal and its Subsidiary Expand Operations in Mexico

ZG Green Energy, Inc. has expanded energy market services between the western U.S. and Baja California (Northern Mexico) by facilitating energy exchange between the two regions. The feasibility of performing similar energy exchanges from Texas and the Noreste region of Mexico is also under consideration and study.

Electricity trade between the U.S. and Mexico has existed since 1905, when privately owned utilities located in remote towns on both sides of the border helped meet one another's electricity demand with a few cross-border low voltage lines. U.S. electricity trade with Mexico represents a small fraction—less than a hundredth of a percent—of total U.S. electricity use. ZG’s office near the border with Mexico, in El Centro, CA, is uniquely positioned to expand services between the two countries.
