ZG provided transmission, wheeling, and interconnection assessments to deliver wind power from New M
After seven years in the making, the Broadview Wind collector station located in Curry and Roosevelt counties in New Mexico was interconnected to the Public Service Company of New Mexico’s (PNM) Blackwater Substation via a 35-mile 345kV generation tie line to allow for transmission of 297 MW of wind to be delivered to Southern California Edison and 200 MW of wind to be delivered to Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD). ZGlobal provided transmission, wheeling and interconnection assessment to ensure that that 497 MW of wind could interconnect to the eastern edge of PNM’s transmission system and get delivered to California.
